The majority of our sales happen through our incredible retail partners. Currently, we sell to over 2,000 locations around the country and abroad. These stores vary from traditional men's specialty stores, fine gift stores, golf clubs and resorts, and campus bookstores. All of our needlepoint products are entirely hand-stitched and assembled in Vietnam. We source our materials from around the world, including American made brass buckles, and the European cotton that we use to stitch our needlepoint. We pride ourselves with the amazing quality and consistency in our needlepoint. There are over 14,000 individual stitches in a typical belt, so it's not uncommon to find something that makes each piece unique. We believe this is what makes a handmade product special, but we never intend to sell anything with imperfections. Smathers & Branson® Is currently licensed to produce products for Arnold Palmer, Ducks Unlimited, F1, the Grateful Dead, Jack Nicklaus, MLB, NHL, Pink Floyd and over 125 colleges and universities across the country. All of our collegiate, professional, and fraternity products are officially licensed through that institution, with their permission and with a percentage of each sale going back to that institution. We are continuously working on acquiring new licenses for schools and teams to expand our offerings. If you don't see your favorite team or alma mater listed, we would love to hear from you.

Gift packaging is provided as a no cost option for many of our products. Our men's belts come packaged in our signature wooden gift boxes for elegant gifting. Wallets, coasters, flasks, cummerbunds, money clips, luggage tags and cufflinks all come with branded paper gift boxes. Cloth shoe bags are provided for shoes.
Please note: key fobs, hats, can coolers, pillows and sunglass straps come packaged in clear polypropylene bags.
We make all of our products to stay with you for years. It's been over ten years since we sold our first belts, and we still hear of customers who wear those same belts today. We love to hear that, and with proper care, we hope that all of our products stand the test of time. Some of our favorite products are our dog collars, because our dogs put more wear and tear on our products than anyone else, but the collars hold up through the ocean, mud, and anything else our dogs can throw at them.
We use cotton thread, so if the item gets dirty, you can try using a damp cloth with a small amount of soap to clean. Silver plated or sterling silver products, such as our money clips and cufflinks, may tarnish over time from exposure to moisture, heat and elements in the air. Try and avoid direct contact with perfumes or chemicals as they will also tarnish. To clean, use silver polish or an instant tarnish remover safe for silver plating.
One simple step you can take to protect the needlepoint would be to treat it with a Scotch Guard type product. You would need to follow the product guidelines and be careful to only treat the cotton thread
We guarantee all of our products free from manufacturer's defects for a full year from the purchase date. If you believe you received a defective product that falls within our warranty period please email us a description, receipt or order number and images of the defect in question to info@smathersandbranson.com.
No warranty will be given to shoes that show signs of wear. Shoes may not be returned if the top is creased or the sole is scuffed. We recommend that you walk on a carpeted surface and avoid fully flexing your foot when trying on our shoes. Smathers and Branson will only replace shoes with material or workmanship defects. We will not replace shoes with customer abuse or damage, accidental or otherwise.
To find the most accurate S&B belt size, please Click here for measuring instructions. Please do not go off of other company’s belt sizes as they often measure their belts differently.
The simplest way to determine a S&B belt size is to add 2 inches to a men's pant waist size. If the recipient is an odd pant size (33, 35 etc.), add 3 inches to the pant size to obtain the correct belt size. If they wear multiple pant sizes, use the largest size to calculate the correct belt size. This formula works best for chino style pants.
If the recipient typically wears designer denim or low rise pants, you may need to add 3-4 inches to the men’s pant waist size. If that is the case, we encourage you to review our measuring instructions to find the correct belt size.
Sizing our belts can be tricky; particularly as one's own waist size can change. We are able to tailor a Smathers & Branson® belt you already own if it no longer fits and is not eligible for exchange. We can remove as many inches as necessary, and it's even possible to add up to 2" to a belt if you've outgrown it. Please fill out our Exchange Form and be sure to include either a check for $55 or a credit card number to charge the amount to. The tailoring typically takes about 1-2 weeks to be completed and then it will be shipped out to you immediately. When you send the belt please include your shipping address, phone number, and email address. Regrettably, we can not tailor any non-Smathers & Branson belts.
For women, the most accurate way to obtain the correct belt size is to either measure through the recipient’s belt loops when they are wearing their pants or measure an existing belt that fits well. This measurement will be their ideal belt size. Please Click here for measuring instructions. Please do not go off of other company’s belt sizes as they often measure their belts differently.

We are able to ship to street addresses, P.O. F.P.O. and A.P.O. boxes in all 50 states and around the world.
Please note that if you select UPS shipping, they are unable to ship to P.O. boxes.
Please double check your address for accuracy before submitting your order online. Once the package has been picked up by the carrier, it becomes difficult to re-route that item. Please call us and we can assist you.

We strive to process orders as quickly as possible. Orders placed Monday through Friday are shipped within one business day. Orders placed after 1pm on Friday or over the weekend are shipped Monday. If you need your order to ship the same day, please place your order before 1pm EST using an expedited service (Please note that UPS does not deliver on Saturday, Sunday and holidays), and we'll be sure your order ships from our warehouse the same day (excludes back-ordered products and custom items).
Depending on the shipping method selected when checking out, delivery times can vary. We ask that you allow up to 2-5 business days for delivery of all UPS ground and 3-8 business days for delivery of USPS shipments. See the map below to estimate based on quoted transit time from our carriers. Orders placed before 1pm EST (M-F) with an expedited shipping method such as 2nd Day Air and Next Day Air are expected for delivery within their respective business day timeline.

International orders are excluded from free shipping + free return shipping on exchanges and may be subject to additional customs fees.
We're unfortunately unable to provide estimated duties and taxes as this information varies by country.
The total of your order at checkout does not include any additional import duties / taxes. All prices on our website are listed in US Dollars.

For belts, the monogram is stitched into the end of the needlepoint on your right front hip as you wear the belt. On a flask or wallet with a motif or logo, the monogram will replace the motif on the back.
We apologize, but we cannot make changes, adjustments, or cancellations to an order after it has been submitted.

All of our products are entirely stitched by hand, and each monogrammed item is stitched from scratch. Our lead times vary per product, and we ask that you reference each product page for the most accurate turnaround time.
Unfortunately we are unable to rush the production time of orders, in order to meet our strict quality standards, we ask that you please allow the full quoted time for your product to be stitched. We try our best to quote an accurate production timeframe upfront.

Exchanges:
Smathers & Branson® accepts exchanges as long as the product is not custom, made to order, special order, monogrammed, discontinued (final sale), visibly worn or damaged. Promotional items are not eligible for exchange. If the size you ordered does not fit properly or you would prefer a different design, please print our Exchange Form and follow the instructions. Please allow up to 30 days for processing, and our customer care team will contact you if we have any questions. If the total value of your exchange is less than the value of the returned items, we will refund you the difference according to our return policies. If the total value of your exchange is greater than the value of the returned items, please include your credit card information or a check made payable to Smathers & Branson®. We do not charge shipping on shipments for exchanged items.
Returns:
Smathers & Branson® accepts returns for credit or refund (excluding shipping and processing charges) on purchases made directly through our company as long as the returned product is not custom, monogrammed, discontinued (final sale), visibly worn or damaged. Smathers & Branson® only provides prepaid return labels for products that arrive damaged, defective or incorrect. Please carefully inspect your order upon delivery. If you receive damaged, defective, or incorrect merchandise, please contact us at 1-844-952-7319 or by email at info@smathersandbranson.com and a representative will be glad to send you a shipping label to exchange or return your defective items.
Please allow two weeks for processing of returns and exchanges. If you need to expedite the exchange process we suggest you purchase the new product from our website and send the unwanted or incorrect merchandise back to us as a return. (Please note that we can only issue a refund back to the original credit card used for purchase for each item).
Periodically, Smathers & Branson® will send our various promotions or discounts via email or mail to customers subscribed to our mailing list. These promotions are only valid during the dates listed and cannot be applied to any previous orders.You may occasionally find third party websites advertising promotional codes for our products, these are often invalid. The best way to stay up to date on our latest products and promotions is to subscribe to our mailing list at the bottom right of this page.
